ASHA NEWS

A TOOL FOR FINDING EVIDENCED BASED RESEARCH:
ASHA is highlighting their Evidenced Base Research Practice Tool.  This is a great resource to help you find reviewed research articles and practice guidelines on a large number of disorders and treatments.  There is a detailed explanation about how the research is judged (and then given a rating) so you can be prepared if challenged about the validity of the study.  This is a great way to find recent studies to support our work with our clients.  Log onto www.asha.org/members/ebp/registry and check it out!

MORE ON RESEARCH:
There is a listserve through ASHA on research as well.  You can subscribe for free through a link at www.asha.org.
