Corrections to John B. Christiansen and Irene W. Leigh, "Pediatric Cochlear Implants and Ethical Issues: Viewpoints to Consider," HEARSAY Vol. 17, 2005:
a) The Gallaudet University Research Institute (GRI) study was conducted in 1999, not 2003 as reported in the article.
b) Careful readers of the article will note that there are several incomplete or poorly worded sentences (for example, "Another reason for oppose implants...").  The authors did not have an opportunity to review editorial changes made in the article before publication.  The Managing Editor, Laura Kretschmer apologizes for this omission and accepts full responsibility for all the grammatical errors in the published version.
