The Student Membership Challenge resulted in an
increase of 100 student members over last year at this time. That
makes OSLHA the true winner of this competition. As OSLHA President
Linda Petrosino says "Students are our future."
The UNIVERSITY PROGRAM with the highest percentage of graduate student members is Ohio University with 87%. Placing second and third are Ohio State University (66%)and Bowling Green State University (38%). Ohio University will receive $500 worth of assessment materials from American Guidance Service, a certificate from OSLHA, recognition on the OSLHA website, and recognition at the OSLHA 2002 Convention Business/Awards Lunch. Congratulations Ohio University! STUDENT DRAWING WINNER ANNOUNCED Sharon K. Jensen of Miami University is the winner of the student drawing. Sharon will receive a free OSLHA Membership for the 2002-2003 fiscal year, free registration to the 2002 Dayton Convention, and a one-night stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel during the convention. Each Student member will have his/her name entered into a drawing. The winner of the drawing will:
PLAN: 2. E-mail communication will be distributed to the Chairs and Directors, Graduate Coordinators, and NSSLHA Advisors at the universities. The E-mail reminders will be sent three times prior to the posted deadline. 3. The Membership Challenge Program will be managed by the Membership/Honors Committee. 4. The contest closed at 5:00 PM, November 30, 2001. For students to be eligible for the drawing and to be counted towards their university, membership must be paid by the deadline.
