Linda Petrosino, University & Student Affairs Representative 2008-2009 GOAL: To provide financial support as an incentive to active NSSLHA groups in Ohio to stimulate professional activity throughout the State. ELIGIBILITY: Project support applications will be accepted from any NSSLHA group in Ohio. The individuals facilitating the project and making application must hold current membership in OSLHA. CRITERIA: Proposals will be judged based on the following criteria: 1. Relativity of the project to OSLHA's Long Range Plan and the promotion of the professions of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. (50 Points) 2. Opportunity for project to stimulate activity that will enhance the quality of speech/language and audiology services to communication disabled individuals in geographic area. (25 Points) 3. The opportunity for the project to increase future professional activity in the affiliate or geographic area. (25 Points) BUDGET: The amount of financial support awarded will depend on the availability of funds and the number of projects funded. GRANT AWARD: The NSSLHA Support Grant will be awarded by December 1, 2008. FOLLOW-UP ACTIVITIES: Upon completion of each project, the Grant Review Committee will request the following from each grant recipient: 1. A brief written final report, which summarizes the project activities, includes documentation for all expenditures, and outlines the program outcomes. 2. A brief article to the OSLHA Business Office for Communication Matters newsletter by June 1 of the following calendar year.
