Developmental Disabilities (DD) Practice Area Represents Professionals in:
- County 169 Programs
- Early Intervention
- Sheltered Workshops
- Supported Living
- Other
settings where the focus treatment and intervention is on individuals
with mental retardation and developmental disabilities.
- You presently have a representative attending and voting for YOU at each Legislative Council meeting of OSLHA.
- You
need to let your representative know how to best communicate with YOU
about issues relating to the I&DD profession and your practice
setting.
- You need to inform your representative about changes
you may be experiencing in your setting, difficulties practicing, and
any other issues that may be adversely affecting your practice, or
impeding your progress with your students and clients.
- You
can expect your representative to obtain answers to your questions and
voice your concerns at the Legislative Council meetings.
