ASHA’s Teaching Symposium on Foundational CSD Science Courses

May 17–28, 2021–ASHA’s Teaching Symposium on Foundational CSD Science Courses is an online learning event that will promote and enhance foundational education in the CSD sciences using evidence-based teaching strategies, including innovative instruction and high-impact learning practices for a diverse group of learners. This teaching symposium is designed for faculty at any rank (including full-time, part-time, adjunct), doctoral students, and postdoctoral fellows who teach or plan to teach foundational CSD science courses such as the following:
- hearing, speech, or language science
- anatomy and physiology, neuroanatomy, or neuroscience
- phonetics, acoustics, psychoacoustics, or speech perception/production
- any CSD course with a strong science foundation
Faculty at any rank, doctoral students, and post-doctoral fellows who currently teach or will be teaching CSD science-related courses within 1 year of participation are eligible to attend. There is no registration fee to attend. Individuals must pre-register and complete the registration online at https://www.asha.org/events/teaching-symposium/
Please be aware that if you register after the start of the Teaching Symposium on May 17, 2021, it may take up to 24 hours after registration to claim your ASHA CEUs in the ASHA Learning Center.
