It’s Never Too Early: Executive Function Strategies for 4-5 Year Olds Live

August 14 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

$30.00

Event Navigation

Recorded webinar, presented by national expert Sally Grimes. Do you know these PreK and K students? In spite of good instruction, they have difficulty transitioning from one activity to another (mental flexibility), have trouble holding onto the beginning of a story while listening to the middle and end (working memory), or can’t wait their turn (inhibitory control).

This will provide educators and parents with basic information about executive function and specific ideas for helping children develop the ability to focus attention, switch gears, plan more efficiently, and hold and work with information that is in their heads. These abilities have been likened to having an air traffic control system in our brains to manage the traffic. Contact nancy@readingwithtlc.com for more info or www.readingwithtlc.com
